Clinical Nurse Educator

Summary/Objective

This position is filled by an advanced practice nurse who, as a result of educational and in-depth clinical experience in hemodialysis or CRRT nursing, possesses the advanced knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide expert nursing education and training; Provides clinical education and evaluation to nursing and patient care staff. Collaborates with medical practitioners to incorporate nursing processes into the plan of care for a specialized group of patients. Performs direct specialty nursing services to patients as required.  Functions within a collaborative environment to enhance quality of related treatments; interprets, evaluates and communicates research findings; and participates in continuous quality improvement activities.

Essential Functions

  • Provide ongoing education and support for Hemodialysis facilities. 
  • Promote product demonstrations during education sessions and document product leads in the current CRM.
  • Document and provide written solutions to recurring problems related to client use, incorporating use of corporate label approval policies.
  • Develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of business goals with both internal and external customers.
  • Provides therapy consultation to hemodialysis clinics and hospitals utilizing Rockwell Medical products during post-implementation phases for product lines. 
  • Conduct on-site customer training.
  • Continuously increase and sharpen therapy knowledge as well as presentation skills.
  • Responsible for being able to conduct in-services on Rockwell portfolio of products.
  • Responsible for being able to conduct scientific / technical presentations and discussions on anemia therapy.
  • Work in a consultative manner with customers and in collaboration with other business team members.
  • Prepare weekly calendar updates.
  • Effectively meet or exceed customer needs; build productive customer relationships; take responsibility for customer’s satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team.
  • Coordinate and manage resources to provide necessary customer service.
  • Manage budget and expenses, adhere to company policies and communicate effectively with corporate and field personnel.

Work Environment

 

  • This position works under normal office conditions but also requires regular walking to various locations throughout hospitals, clinics, physicians’ offices, and other healthcare settings. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, fax machines, scanners, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses.

  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Early mornings, evenings and weekends may be frequently required.

  • Extensive travel is required for this position: 75-90%.

Required Education and Experience

  • Hemodialysis and CRRT RN experience required.
  • 2 years clinical experience required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in product and therapy knowledge.

Territory Business Manager

Summary/Objective

The Territory Business Manager is responsible for sales objectives and activities of Triferic®, and other disposable products.  Provides dialysis centers, hospitals, physicians, and healthcare providers with products, services, and information that will enable them to use and prescribe Rockwell products safely and effectively.  Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within the territory with a focus on in-center Hemodialysis. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, learning agile, and can grow in a commercial organization.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for achieving sales quotas through the direct sale of the company’s products and services.
  • Implement sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives.
  • Ensures full compliance with drug laws, regulations, and Rockwell policies in all aspects of interactions with healthcare professionals.  
  • Communicates balanced, accurate, and complete information on Rockwell products.
  • Executes sales calls in hemodialysis clinics, hospitals, on nephrologists and other health professionals in order to provide product information and to ensure the availability of Rockwell products in assigned accounts within the territory.
  • Masters effective sales presentations and provides technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes with appropriate customer pricing.
  • Monitors sales against forecasts and participates in the determination of market potential for the territory.
  • Works closely with clinical nurse educators and customer service to ensure optimal levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Provides customer feedback to immediate supervisor(s) and marketing personnel for the potential development of marketing policy, products and pricing.
  • Promotes and maintains positive ongoing relationships and activities with members of the community to foster goodwill toward the Rockwell brand.
  • Provides feedback regarding product simplification and standardization to enhance profitability of sales line.
  • Demonstrates consistent completion of all administrative requirements in a timely manner, including call reporting, budget management, log-ins, etc.

  • Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Position requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies.
  • Must have demonstrated good organization and time management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of three years of successful, relevant healthcare sales experience.
  • Valid Driver’s license.

  • Able to provide last 2 years of sales performance outcomes.
