Position Overview
The Materials Planner/Production Scheduler is accountable for converting customer requirements into a manufacturing production schedule, while maintaining inventory levels, shipping schedules, lead times, and staffing constraints.
The role works closely with all areas of the organization including operations, supply chain, and leadership to ensure the production plans achieve our working capital, inventory turn goals and customer service expectations. This position requires a thorough understanding of the advanced planning and scheduling process required for a high volume, short lead time manufacturing environment. Will utilize the Syteline ERP System to prepare and provide daily, weekly and monthly schedules and inventory tracking while maintaining constant communication with management to assure accurate inventory status of finished goods and raw materials. The position reports into the Plant Manager. Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing in inventory planning and purchasing roles is preferred.

· Maintain driver Hours of Service log using Electronic Logging Device (ELD)
· Must be able to properly maintain Hours of Service log manually in event ELD is not available
· Must understand and comply with all DOT rules and requirements
· Ability to effectively work with a diverse customer base (internal and external)
· Must be professional, courteous, and self-motivated
· Must be able to meet physical demand of position
· Prior inside delivery experience a plus
· Safely operate material handling equipment such as lift gates, ramps, pallet jacks
· Work productively and effectively in extreme cold and/or extreme heat
· Must be able to work overtime on short notice

· Repetitive lifting and moving of cases weighing up to 50 pounds
· Frequent entering and exiting of vehicle
· Frequent bending, crouching, twisting, reaching, grasping, climbing, and balancing
· Frequent kneeling, squatting, and wrist turning
